European Partnership for Project and Innovation Management (EuroPIM)

Project-ID: 57421250

The aim of the European Partnership for Project and Innovation Management (EuroPIM), supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), is to further extend and strengthen the existing relationship with four European universities into strategic partnerships. The universities in Bilbao (University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU, Spain), Leuven (KU Leuven, Belgium), Kaunas (KTU, Lithuania) and Trondheim (NTNU, Norway) are the cooperating partners of this project.

The foundation of the partnership is the European Master in Project Management (EuroMPM), which has been run by Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, UPV/EHU in Bilbao and NTNU in Trondheim since 2007. Since 2015, the network has been strategically expanded into an international Master’s School through additional degree programmes, two new partners (KU Leuven and KTU), and a dense sequence of interaction points (primarily short-term exchanges with corresponding teaching formats). This virtual, cross-border Master’s School is institutionalised through recurring events (annual academic calendar), the exchange of students and lecturers, and joint certificates of achievement (module certificates, double degrees).
